i just discovered a youtube channel that does entirely live action remakes of spongebob episodes to get around the fact that you cant post the actual episodes
and theres actually a lot of effort put into this?????
Logan: It’s not gay if I wanna date Virgil, right? Like, in a bro way? I wanna take him to all the places I like, hold his hand, and make him smile because his smile is the most beautiful smile I’ve ever seen and I wanna see that smile for the rest of my life.
Patton: I’m not an expert, but that sounds pretty gay.
Roman: I’m an expert. That’s gay.
(Logicality)
Logan: Once at boot camp, I had a crush on this boy. So I bought him a bag of candy.
Logan: Later on, I caught a running head start and saw him underneath a tree.
Logan: Then I threw the bag at him and ran away as fast as I could.
Roman:
Virgil:
Patton: That was YOU!?
(Royality)
Logan: Do you want to tell me how you crashed the car?
Patton: Well, we were driving and there was a deer in the middle of the road that Roman couldn’t see, so I shouted, “Roman, deer!”
Logan:
Roman:
Logan: Do you want to tell me what your response was?
Remember the first Wreck-It Ralph movie?? Where Ralph was the bad guy to everyone except Venellope, and even then he wasn’t perfect?? Cause I do and I watched it recently and I haven’t been able to unthink an idea since. So please, have a Wreck-It Ralph AU
Virgil is our Ralph, mostly because I see A LOT of similarities that might not be there but I think they are. He’s the “bad guy” but that’s because he has to be the bad guy. He doesn’t have much of a choice. He wants everyone to like him and he wants to be friends, but he can’t because they only see him as scary and mean (sound familiar?) so he leaves to prove he can be good and do the right thing. And he messes up sometimes but don’t we all?
And then we have Logan. Logan is our Fix-it Felix in this scenario. He’s smart, he’s a little awkward, he wants to do the right thing but he also wants to make sure everyone else is taken care of. He isn’t always the best with words, but he has good intentions and when he realizes they need Virgil, he goes out to bring him back. He learns more about himself a long the way, and more about how to make sure everyone else feels cared for.
Roman would be Calhoun ((ya know, the space fighter)). He’s a hero who wants to protect those around him, and when he realizes there’s a threat that came from him game realm, he makes the choice to go and stop it. He takes Logan and makes sure the nerd is safe while working through his past and puts the lives of the others over his own comfort.
Then we have Patton. Sweet, kind, trusting Patton. He’s Venellope. People see him and think he isn’t suppose to be there, but he has a goal and doesn’t let the negative things get him down. He’s silly and sees the good in Virgil, even when Virgil doesn’t see it in himself. And he’s got this blinding optimism that others can’t seem to figure out, and he’s a little sassy but never mean.
And if we have Venellope, we need a King Candy. That’s where Dee would come in. He takes the role of Patton as ruler of the candy kingdom, and no one recognizes it because he’s good at seeming in charge. He makes it his goal to keep everyone in the dark, and when Virgil learns the truth he makes it his goal to make sure it comes out.
And of course other character and peeps from the series and shorts will makes appearances as towns people and the other folks in the candy kingdom if it was seen fit, I just thought this could be a fun thing people could read or write or something.
Just a reminder, but you do not need to “earn” being tired.
You’re allowed to be tired, even if you haven’t “done” anything and you’re allowed to be tired even if you did less than someone else.
Being tired is a normal thing your body does for a whole plethora of reasons, and is a basic bodily function. You don’t need to “earn” basic bodily functions, no matter what anyone else tells you.
hey hey hey this is really important, especially as a reminder to people with disorders that cause chronic exhaustion.
