tbh if there were a decent alternative with similar features (and honestly by features i mean mostly the ones xkit provides) and a good cr/fandom community, i’d be off this sinking ship of a site in an instant
i’ve been here since at least 2012, probably earlier, and i’ve seen a lot of dumb shit but this past year or so @staff has managed things like the porn bots especially poorly
if i were a betting person, i’d put money on them trying to solve this by banning nsfw content entirely, and lgbt community getting caught up in the crossfire (remember when all lesbian content was marked as ‘adult’ and hidden in safe search even if it was completely sfw?) and that being the end of the site.
they’ve improved some things over the years, but honestly, some things, like the search function, have consistently gotten worse. we used to be able to search two tags at once, and disable endless scrolling, and click on pictures in search without refreshing the search page, and see everything in search, not just the most recent/popular posts. the way it has declined over the years is….very aggravating.
Fucking called it y’all. I have absolutely zero doubts that a bunch of sfw gay & lesbian blogs are gonna get banned too.

The Adventure Zone Liches: sought lichdom to save their families, the two that turned evil were fabulous as hell and ran a game show, the other two are major heroes of the story: one is a loving and badass lady who once apologized for destroying a 10-year-old’s macaroons once by accident, the other is literally named Barry Bluejeans
This is a bigger deal than “horny is banned”, sadly. I’ve got text posts that are completely clean blacklisted from my own damn blog search; the same for art, just based on pixel groupings and a few buzzwords.
Censorship Is a Slippery Slope, especially when it’s done by computers, even moreso when the people behind the computers are the monumental dumbasses that run this site.
