what I like most about the 2nd episode of she-ra is how Glimmer slowly warms up to Adora, like… she sees that ‘holy shit she’s just a kid’ during the festival sequence.

Like, Adora is completely mesmerized and fascinated by Children’s stories Glimmer most likely grew up listening to.

She eats like she’s never been fed properly

Doesn’t know what a horse is.

But… Glimmer wants to like her. I really believe after knowing her for a few hours(?) Glimmer wants to like her and trust her but:

Adora is still from the Horde, the army that killed her father, and friends.

And it wasn’t until Adora risked her life to save the people of Thaymor and try to stop the Horde did she realize that ‘hey maybe she isn’t all that bad’

idk I’m rambling but I love this episode because Glimmer and Adora literally went from
