Literally all the sides hide their negative feelings. I just realized that, but they do – Patton used to hide when he was feeling low, Virgil acted scary to get his point across despite feeling ostracized and constantly unwanted, Roman denies feeling insecure, and Logan just downright ignores his emotions.

Anyway what I thought of from THERE was that it’s a form of lying to yourself – yes, they’re all individually lying to themselves, and it’s less of Thomas as a whole lying to himself… yet I still think that involves Deceit (or it could, anyway).

But I feel like Deceit wouldn’t really be malicious in this situation? More… exasperated. So like

Roman: I’m NoT iNsEcUrE?????

Deceit, lounging in the Mindscape:

Patton: Oh yeah kiddos, I’m fine! Just your Happy Pappy Patton!

Deceit, watching from literally three seats away:

Virgil: Yeah, like any of your comments actually bother me, Princey

Deceit, sipping tea:

Logan: I have never felt anything, ever, in my life.

Deceit, dumbfounded and 300% done with the Light Sides’ sh!t:
